Iron Stars - loriya

Loriya awakens in the Academy on Gudrun, the beating heart of the untied nations of worlds. Students and faculty hustle through the corridors outside. Though far from needing to continue classes there are graduate studies that are always ongoing, as well as exploration of the many ruins across the UNW. One such offer appears on the small wall terminal in the dorm room. A palm print is requested to open it and the originator is the central government office; specifically Governor Franz Herzigov

Lori, out of curiosity, inputs her palm print. What could this be, she wonders?

There is a beeping sound , muted but present , as the print is compared to what is on file for you Several seconds pass as the message loads. The office of Gudrun’s Governor passed by and the text begins scrolling. The northern desert of the planet and the swamps in the southern reaches of the planet have never been fully explored by any of the races that consider Gudrun home. The university is looking to change this, as both Piggen and Taros ruins have commonly been found by expeditions in the past. A small team is being put together to explore each and there are vacancies in both. Your skill set and past works entitle you to a position and the governors office themselves are prepared to assist with a recommendation

The scroll text stops and repeats , displaying the same message again with an attached sign up sheet

Ohhhh, this is perfect!! Lori’s been dying to get some fresh air, and some ruins at the same time? Sign her up! She fills out the sign up sheet for the northern desert ruins.

It appears three other people are on the list as well, rounding you out to a team of four. Your application is accepted and a follow on automated prompt requests that you arrive at the Central Air/Space port this evening (several hours from now) to meet the rest of the team and determine what everyone's role will be as the exploration unfolds. A small amount of supply will be provided for the expedition as well, and transportation will also be handled by Governor Herzigov's office.

Lori wastes no time in packing her things. Better to be early and make a good first impression, right?

An hour before you are to meet the team a small vehicle pulls out in front of the Academy, and a message appears on the wall holoscreen that your ride has arrived, free of charge. The vehicle is smooth and aerodynamic, a small roadster with only two seats inside. Rather than a driver the vehicle seems autonomously driven.

"Woah, talk about deluxe treatment..." Lori takes a second to just admire the car before getting in, her mind already wondering what could possibly be in those ruins, waiting to be found. (edited)

The wing doors close behind you once the ghost driver verified your bags are loaded and all hands and feet are inside the vehicle. In a wide turn it exits the academy grounds heading towards the center of Central, the first human settlement on Gudrun back whe the United Nations of Worlds was just a corporate outpost for a now long lost pre scream development company. Five years have passed since then. Stellar polities and countless threats to them have risen during that time. Sentient life struggles to find ways to navigate this period of galactic Silence. Ahead, the light pollution is your first indication that you are approaching your destination. Spotlights help approaching craft see the runway, or the dozens of concrete pads where VTOL craft are meant to set down. A gate opens and the car is let through the fence line and guard posts there to a small private hangar. It’s main doors are closed. If there are others here they must be inside. The roadster comes to a halt

Lori grabs her bags, exiting the car and heading right in. She also checks the time, just to make sure she isn't late. Again.

The time is correct, the automated system of the car has allowed no room for error. A small service door that is man sized on the side of the hangar is slightly ajar and you can hear people talking within

And without further ado, Lori heads in to meet her new crew. (edited)

Three figures are inside. One is a taros female who is already ignoring the door opening and is working on the underside of the small grav flyer provided to your expedition. The other two are both human males- one has the look of a fellow academy student. The other is packing a small arms locker with an impressive personal armory inside of it. He has a battered Colonial Marshals set of armor on , a curious addition as the organization has not existed for many years.

"Hi! Everyone! I'm the fourth crewmate, Loriya, though you can just call me Lori."

They introduce themselves, making polite but restrained introductions. With you here it seems like everything is in place for them to begin leaving. The flight to the desert is an hour or two of flying as -is; the taros pilot explains, and from there making the orbits needed to scan regions and locate uncatalogued parts of the desert will also be time consuming.

The ramps are down, and the inside of the ship looks spartan, but well designed.

Lori steps in, and starts fiddling with something on her dataslab.

The others climb aboard a short time later once their respective cargoes are loaded. There is some silence out of respect for the pilot for a few moments- as she coordinates with ground control to get flight clearance and a clear window of sky to gain some altitude through before pushing north. The vehicle begins moving after a short and highly technical conversation, and the hangar doors open automatically. Throttling up, several headsets drop from the ceiling so everyone can communicate over the roar of the powerful grav-engines

"So, where exactly... are we... headed?"

"That's just it" the security expert says plugging his own headset into the shared console between everyone's seats. "We have a region we were tasked with scanning and observing out in the desert. We might find something, we might see nothing but khaki and some animals for a few days. It's a few thousand square kilometer area, but this thing is packed with equipment, so as long as its not too deeply buried, if there is something out there we'll find it"

"Got it, got it." Lori mostly just keeps to herself, getting lost in thought for most of the ride.

The flyer passes over the mountain range called The Spine by the locals. A nuclear base was also in the mountains once, a last ditch in the event of a planetary invasion in the days before there was a battle fleet patrolling the heavens. From this altitude you can see the Piggen city of Delphos beyond it. It’s yellow dusted walls and buildings are large and square with some modern trappings. A few flying craft of their own circle the city on awkward and ungainly courses. Some words pass between your pilot and ground control there before she begins to bank right out into the open desert. There is a hum as scanning equipment comes online. Keys light up and screens begin filling with data (Just need a d10)

The survey scanner connected the instrument panel most near you begins to chime gently. Refined metals. Water. Volcanic stone. Looking out the side viewport, you can see nothing but sand- though the scanner is picking up something buried in the shallow bowl of a crater ahead. None of the other consoles seem to have picked it up.

"Wait, over there. I'm picking up... Well, something."

The rest of the crew examines the feed from your scanners. The grav flyer begins to descend as the signal gets stronger before finally setting down on the desert sands amid swirling engine downdraft. It’s accomplishing a dual purpose and a bit of a structure of some kind Is exposed. It looks like the top of a spire or pillar, with a triangular capstone of onyx just barely poking out of the tan desert sands. It’s smooth and machined to a polish

Lori makes sure to write this down before trying to get a closer look.

The obelisk point seems to be entirely devoid of further detail, but with the knowledge something is here, and a place to start, the grav flyer begins deploying its tool rack so the process of marking the area of interest and beginning the dig can begin. "I didn't expect to find anything , let alone so soon. Maybe the new girl is the lucky break we needed. Only thing that's changed recently" she says turning to you at that last part.

"Anyway, someone should call this in, let the university know so we can get some more people out here"

"Good thinking. I'll call this in to the university, then we can get to work?"

“Alright. Headset is in the cockpit. Flip the switch down to transmit, up to receive. It’s archaic and analog but it works no matter the conditions. “

"Got it!" Loriya heads to the cockpit, flipping the switch down. "This is Loriya, from the northern expedition team. We found a sort of... Obelisk? Its function remains unclear, however we'd like to ask for a few extra people to help dig it up." She then flips the switch up.

There is a screen of static that is all you can hear for a few seconds before it clears. "We read you expedition 1. You don't have any idea what we might be looking at besides obelisk? Do you recommend security personnel accompany the workers?"

"This could be anything. Security might be a good call, just to be on the safe side."

Details are taken, and they promise reinforcements are coming by tonight. As the transmission ends you can hear the tool rack begin powering up to aid in the digging efforts. The obelisk is a start , and there is undoubtedly more beneath the sands. One of the machines being removed from the belly of the grav flyer is some sort of excavator. Several hours of digging with the rest of the team in relative silence pass before revealing a structure (edited)

"...I wanna go inside."

"We should see what we're dealing with before we draw more people in." The security expert says, looking down the hole. He throws a thermal flare down into it, watching as it bounces off the wall for several tens of meters before finally coming to rest at the bottom of the shaft.

"We should get a rope, I can go down there and see what's inside!" Lori is BUZZING with excitement. This is the most interesting stuff she's seen in... A while, at least.

Climbing gear is pulled from the ships locker and set into the desert sands. The pilot is elected to remain on the surface to watch the radio and greet the second ship once it makes its way here. Thermal flares are passed out to everyone and one by one the rope is clipped on to your harness

Lori descends into the structure, eager to discover what’s inside.

Descending into the ruins at the heels of the security trooper, the other student is behind you. You enter the revealed room from the south as braziers and torches begin lighting under their notice of people in the room, somehow. A blocked tunnel to the north has a stone statue of a large tree in front of it, while another passage runs east

“Woahhhhh.” Lori slowly approaches the tree statue, eager to check it out.

The tree is large and reaches almost to the ceiling. The branches and trunk have been carved and textured to resemble a real tree, if not for the material it was made from one might think it is real. The leaves have also been carved and gem-like fruits hang from it. Rubies are carved to resemble something like a pomegranate or whatever the Piggen equivalent of the fruit might have been. Several small figurines have been placed around the base of the tree resembling piggen workers, scholars, shaman, craftsmen and merchants. Their features have been obscured due to erosion and the passage of time, but all are modeled to have their heads slightly inclined, looking up at the tree.

“This tree must have been important somehow… Monument, perhaps? Maybe a place of worship?”

“There might be more experts coming who can shed more light on it” the student says looking up at the carvings. “This could mean anything but it’s impressive”

"Right???" Lori zips around, looking at every little detail in this room before eventually landing at the east passage. She's like a kid in a candystore.

The eastern passage is dark. There are no lights beyond but you can see the vague outline of a chamber there

“You guys wouldn’t happen to have a flashlight, would you…?”

Thermal flares were passed out to the group and two of them jangling on your belt remind you that you have a light source that should last long enough for you to get some exploring in

“OH, right, we have flares! Duh.” She lights one, and heads into the passage.

Passage leads into a large room with a metal rectangular shape in the middle. Torches have been loaded with fuel and placed around the room but were never lit by the tomb attendants. It’s hard to see much detail with the frail and inconstant light cast by the thermal flares

“Hm… these torches. Either they never got the chance to light them, or they actively didn’t want to.” Lori approaches the center rectangular shape.

There is a symbol carved into the gold inlaid iron on its lid. A piggen crown is depicted there and the work is expertly done. Made with primitive tools like the rest of the temple seems to be this alone would have taken years to complete

Lori's going to attempt to see if there's anything else on this thing.

There is nothing else worked into the metal.

Then with that, she moves over to one of the torches, lighting it. She makes sure to not do all of them, because that could obviously trigger something.

The northwest torch is lit first and the stone doorway hidden in the corner of the room to another chamber reveals itself in the shifting of stones and gently falling sifting sand

"I think I got something over here!"

The team begins cautiously moving down the same tunnel. You can see the red glare of their thermal flare getting steadily closer until the other two of them stand in this room with you. "What did you find? we heard the stones moving"

"Another doorway. I think they react to the torches, could you guys light the others?"

The security expert keeps his rifle pointed down the corridor you've opened already, just in case. The student takes the offered thermal flare, lighting the northeast and south torches, revealing two more passageways on the north wall that also open. The fuel doesn't seem to burn in a way where it will deplete.

"Which way first?"

They seem to be deferring to you to pick since you got them this far

"Um... Northwest!"

"I'm going to stay back here and check out this coffin some more" the student says. "I think if I spend a bit of time with this I might be able to translate the ancient Piggen markings on it "

"Got it, we'll keep going," she says, beginning to head down the passage.

The next room has no outlets. Your flares illuminate hundreds of clay statues scaled to real life Piggen height. Dozens of warriors, priests, workers, and slaves are depicted here made from clay, dried, and lovingly handpainted in their detail work. An army of retainers in a chamber near their lord to follow him into the afterlife it seems. Most of their broaches still have gems attached to them. Time has caused others to fall into the sand at the decaying floor of the chamber, though this does not seem to have been touched by grave robbers

“Woah…” Lori takes a second to admire the scene before looking more in depth at everything.

The gems are mundane but have been cut and polished far in excess of what should be possible with normal hand tools which had clearly been used in putting the rest of the clay statues together (edited)

"These gems are out of place. The cut and level of polish shouldn't have been possible with the tools available to them at the time."

Out in the coffin room, you remember sockets on it where something like these might fit. The carving work there was also completed to much more refined standards but the lid design was incomplete

"I got an idea." Lori heads back to the coffin, placing the gem into one of the sockets.

There is a rumble in the ground. The coffin lid does not move but the air begins to spark with static at the energies being unleashed. Your compads all buzz as the sub-terrain event continues. Academy personnel are here

"Ohhhhhhh this is getting INTERESTING!" Lori goes to greet them, eager to inform them on what happened so far.

The ground continues to shake as you make your way up the long climbing rope back to the surface. You can see both aircraft have pulled back a few hundred meters as the ground continues to shake

Geez, it's that bad, huh? Lori eventually makes it to the aircrafts, greeting whoever's there.

A dozen more security troopers have arrived. THese are UNW regulars with combat field uniforms and black combat rifles cased with high caliber ammunition. Several students and workers have also arrived as the sand continues shifting into the ruin site behind you. In your estimation the Obelisk has somehow become a few meters taller since you looked at it last

“Hey! Hi! I’m Loriya, and I have a LOT to tell you about this place.”

In an almost coordinated motion the students open their flip books and click pens to begin taking notes. The guards are also listening intently as you have knowledge about this place and its hazards that they do not. Behind you, it is clear that whatever you've done inside, the temple is slowly begining to rise out of the desert sands. In another few hours you should be able to see the entire structure.

“-What’s really peculiar, though, is that the gem I found, given the technology at the time, shouldn’t exist. It’s too finely cut and polished.”

Pens rasp on notebooks and they continue following the path of your journey as you tell it. Behind your the temple continues rising out of the desert sands. The spire you climbed down is now over 30m off the ground. Air whistling through the structure is musical and sounds almost like chimes. A brass ornamental sun as big as a small space yacht catches the evening sun and turns red with the reflected light in a dazzling display

"Woah..."

Woah indeed it seems. There is uneasiness across the group at this recent development

What is this place? How is the gem here, when it shouldn't be? What more lies inside? These questions race through Lori's mind as she slowly walks towards the newly sprouted structure.

The soldiers begin loading their weapons and fanning out to try to get into the building first. From within there is a single, deep percussive bang. Another follows, and then another after that almost like a rolling drum beat. Everyone is immediately on edge.

“All from one gem…?”

There is more pounding within, and after a moment the first of the Piggen statues is standing at the threshold of the temple door. It is 100m away, and the soldiers immediately begin taking firing positions

“Hey- woah woah woah!!! We don’t know if this is even hostile!!!”

It stands at the entry way to the temple. It has a war spear in its hand and looks out at the surrounding area with a commanding, unliving gaze. It is unclear if this is some sort of metaspace event or mechanical construct, or what its intentions are

Lori, still inching closer, speaks up. "I mean you no harm. Can you... Can you understand me...?"

The statue looks down and nods slowly, a grind of stone on stone as it processes your words. It continues surveying.

The construct plants it’s spear at the steps of the building and begins to back away, still an attentive sentinel for whatever is lurking within

The construct doesn’t seem to hahs anything more to say, but if it had hostile intentions you think you might know by how. Exploration seems to be a safe prospect

They're unsure what you'd like them to do but it seems as though they're willing to let you take the lead on this. Uncovering the ruin has already benefited the various learning institutions across Gudrun. (3xp, 5000 credits. Up to you if you wanted to keep working on this or divert to something more in line with what you want to do)

The academy is lookign for more help and as you look over the ships available to you for requisition, you get a notice stating that a missing girl with Psychic powers, who was about to ship out for training at the academy has run from home. She has not learned anything yet and every use of her powers might cause her to Torch and become irreversibly brain damaged. The icy planet is full of hazards, more than just the cold weather, and no one is sure where she has gone. An untrained psychic on the loose is a danger to the life and safety of everyone.

"Okay... If I were a scared girl running from home, where would I go...?" Lori will start her investigation by questioning the girl's parents, seeing if they might know anything.

(first thing first, 3 days of downtime from Tsatsos to Mariam, and I'll move us into this) The Hub is the settlement where the parents were living. They are a family known as the Silgrians, and their daughter Abigail has been the subject of many psychic academy visits over the years, as she was one of the first post-Scream to develop powers on their own. She had promised to attend the academy this year now that she is thirteen standard years old, but the night before she was supposed to leave, she opted to run away instead. She previously expressed reluctance to leave her family. Her parents did not want her to be trained, but her grandmother did, remembering life pre-scream, and knowing the dangers an untrained psychic can present- having seen first hand what can happen.

Right. This looks to Lori like it wasn't planned. More of a last minute decision. Meaning, we need to put ourselves in the shoes of someone whose decisions aren't based on strategy, rather instinct.

(up to you how you want to do this, we have the parents, the grandmother, and some neighbors that can be spoken to in The Hub, or we can try to see if tracking is possible out in the tundra)

(I'll start with the parents, since they align most with what the girl wanted, i.e. staying out of the academy)

The hub is a large domed settlement where thousands of people live protected from the harsh cold of the planet. The interior is a dark space lit by soft warm lights strung from the buildings across streets. The place is charming but even in here winter conditions exist. The streets are hard packed snow and the buildings are build on top of foundations made from crumbled and buried sky scrapers that used to be below. The house in question is one of the few single family dwellings here located against the north side of the dome

Lori knocks on the door. "Is anyone home? I'm here about your daughter."

The door opens but you can see from this side it is held in place by a door chain. "Ah, Abigail, have you found her? We've been so worried but we can't get clearance to take out one of the snowkats"

“No, not yet anyway. I’m here to ask a few questions.”

"You can ask them through the door. What do you want to know?"

“I understand that she expressed that she didn’t want to go to the academy. Did she say anything uncharacteristic before her disappearance?”

"We tried getting her excited about going, or trying to make the best of it, but she didn't seem like she was happy to go even though she knew the reasons why. "

There is a boy sitting on his front step, watching the other kids playing in the street. Some sort of kick-ball game is going on and its interrupted every few minutes when a snow mobile or one of the more car like snowkats rolls by. \

"Excuse me, are you Jakobi? I have a few questions regarding Abigail."

"I..Yes I am, who are you?" he asks, shrinking back from you on the step just a bit.

Jakobi goes back to playing in the street leaving you with a new lead. It seems like the tundra is the next place to look, and you'll need both survival gear and transport to get out there.

The local defense forces often patrol beyond the dome. They need the survival gear and vehicles to make it far on the ice and snow. You passed through their main guard post as you walked into town from the shuttle

A fireteam of 4 guards, and their corporal , along with a driver pile into one of the ATV snow-cat vehicles they locals use to explore the ice wastes. THere is plenty of room in the large tracked vehicle for all of you, and it comes kitted out with a heavy machine gun, living space, and a medical bay which is hoped will not be needed. Survival gear is handed out to you, and a type A cell can be plugged into it to keep the heat conductive wiring inside going, in turn keeping you warm.

Splendid! After changing into it and plugging in a type A cell, we can get this ball rolling!

The warming wires within the suit begin switching on and after a few moments you feel quite toasty, though outside the city gates with the wind and snow blowing you expect you will still end up cold, somehow. None of the troopers seem to be new at this and many are shoving extra cloth into their boots. Piling into the transport, the map of the local area is pulled up, and based on what Jakobi had told you there is some kind of little fort they had made, or found, about a kilometer from the city. How they have been sneaking out to get there is an answer you'll have to get from Abigail when you find her. The doors of the city begin lowering and sirens chirp announcing you are leaving, and for anyone not in proper dress to stay back behind the inner doors. The vehicle lurches into motion, and you are off into the frozen countryside. There is not much need for the machine gun right now, and the commander invites you to sit in the top hatch with his pair of binoculars to keep an eye out for the girl.

“Thank you,” She says, taking the binoculars and scanning the horizon.

Faint footprints ahead of the vehicle turn off the road and into the wilderness where a wind swept shack stands tall next to what is now a lake. The shack is amateurish , clearly made by someone who doesn’t plan to actually live there , like something a child would make. Heavy snow has piled up around it. Without the prints you can barely see you’d have probably passed this place on by not knowing anything was out there

There is a popping sound below you as the vehicle commander opens the front top hatch. “Where?! I need you to describe what you’re seeing. There are ice all over the vision blocks from down here “

The engine shuts off and the small team of six soldiers and yourself begin slowly moving across the snowpack. It doesn’t seem like Abigail is aware you’re coming just yet as you mind the crunch of the snow under your boots. The ships and their crews are quiet, and mostly dutiful, preparing for the long spike transit north.

"Honestly, whatever works for you," She replies, desperately trying to tame her wild hair.

Kila nods and relays instructions to the lighter teams to take all the construction supplies and load whatever else is there. "I'll go help them in a few minutes. So you found this stuff?"

Lori FINALLY gets her hair in check. “Me and Hailey, mhm!”

Kila nods again. “Great! I’m gonna head over and help the crew out then. Quicker we get done the quicker I can get home. I do miss it.” Pulling up the sleeves of her workout gear she heads over to the lighters to help.

Kila makes sure the crew gets regular breaks, they have after all been on duty for some time now. I should really make sure they get shore leave when we get back to Alcibiades. With the loading complete, she turns to Lori, "You're welcome to come to Alcibiades to oversee the trade if you like, but otherwise I can just wire you the money once it's all sold?"

(Up to you Lori, the folks you normally team up with are all on missions right now, so joining this one or we find a solo one for a bit is probably a good track. Your call)

After sleeping for a month, it looks like your services are needed by the polity once again as an organization called the Azure Eye has been dismantled. One of their shuttles, and a wealth of computers and other electronic devices have been collected and brought to a polity black site deep within the deserts of Gudrun. Polity transport has been provided for you to make your way back east across the planetary systems controlled by the UNW, and you will be met by intelligence operatives once arriving in the Gudrun system. They are hoping with your hacking abilities you might be able to dig up names, plans, capabilities, and any other information the polity might find useful in trying to dismantle this network of dangerous ultranationalists.

"Ahh, good morning Iron St- IT'S BEEN A MONTH????" Lori scrambles out of bed and she quickly gets her appearance together before embarking on the transport. She- She couldn't have slept for a whole MONTH, right? Right?????? (edited)

The soldiers at the starport here on Thjohild are courteous, and the term "starport" is overly generous, little more than a few tin hangars and a thick cement tarmac to allow vessels to land. The trip back to Gudrun is expected to take nine days, at which time you'll be passed over to intelligence and will get further transport from there. Little is known about the inner workings of the Azeure Eye, and it is hoped with your knowledge of computers you might be able to get something out of the captured hardware that others missed.

Lori bides her time by doing some practice runs, making sure her skills are nice and sharp by the time she arrives.

The ship comes to land after several days in space, docking first with the Trivedi Cloud orbital platform high above Gudrun, where suited intelligence agency operatives bring you aboard a low visibility shuttle that makes a quick launch toward the desert. From space, there is not much to see but bands of tan and orange-rust sand, but a small installation comes into view with a tarmac , air conditioned work-space for electronics, and a hangar where the shuttle can be hauled in and brought out of sight. Special efforts have been made to have the place look like a ruin in the case of accidental observation, but everything here is quite functional. Landing in the shade of the hangar, you meet your liaison, a stocky looking Merlon agent named Milo,

"Hi! You must be Milo," She says, looking at the hangar around her.

“I am. And you’re the expert who’s going to help us make sense of all this. The Eye was a weird bunch, some of their systems were high tech, almost as good as the stuff the intelligence service is using and some of it is analog. So old we don’t even have listening devices that look for those kind of signals anymore. You’re in for a real treat” he says as he opens the door to the hangar. It leads directly into the secure warehouse that seems to be holding the computers and hard copy files taken from the destroyed eye compound

The intact computer systems are labeled 1 through 4, and they each come with a brief index card showing where they were taken from. 1- Security computer taken from the wreckage of the Harbor Security Booth, closest to the edge of the blast radius. The machine looks to be fairly intact. 2- Navigation computer taken from a captured Azure Eye Shuttle 3- Overseer's computer, taken from a secure vault underground, at the heart of the destroyed facility. There is a small listening post on the northern landmass of Tsatsos, deep within the lava fields and an EM shielded former colony. They also have a small asteroid base in the Thorfinna system.

Good stuff, Lori thinks to herself. Now let’s take a look at the people involved. Names, skillsets, Lori wants dossiers on these folks.

Names don't seem to be included within the database but they have been employing large numbers of engineers, and ex-soldiers to their cause.

The Eye suspected a traitor or traitors in their ranks, or at the very least they had been compromised somewhere. They are considering planning to flee into the dead space between the ISF and NFSS, but at the time of this message had not made a final decision. The destruction of their base on Terezinho will likely make this decision for them

The Communist Brotherhood is a longer goal of theirs but is currently the furthest away from Eye bases.

She'll have to report this to those factions... Now let's check out the last computer.

The last of the computers is the security computer taken from the edge of the blast zone on Terezinho. It has some out of date now access codes on it, along with a log of who visited the facility and why. You have a few names here of people in UNW employ, especially among the governor's office on that planet, and he does not know there are traitors in his ranks.

The phone net looks to be consisting of thousands of private internal messages, sifting through them all will take weeks if not months but you are able to pinpoint one of the traitors within the UNW ranks, as a mid level officer within the governor's office on Terezinho named Zam Renald. He was once a presidential candidate in the past UNW election and took the loss personally. It looks like he is now working against the polity to push his own political ideals.
